This pivotal role requires a highly skilled physician capable of providing exceptional emergency care to patients presenting with a wide variety of acute medical conditions. The Emergency Department Consultant will lead a multidisciplinary team in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of urgent medical cases, ensuring high standards of clinical practice and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage patients presenting to the emergency department, ensuring timely diagnosis and treatment of acute medical conditions.

• Direct and supervise resident physicians and medical staff in the delivery of emergency care.

• Lead resuscitation efforts for critically ill patients and apply evidence-based protocols to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including imaging studies, laboratory tests, and consultation with specialty services.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams regarding treatment plans, prognosis, and outcomes.

• Engage actively in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits to enhance departmental performance.

• Participate in educational programs for medical students, residents, and nursing staff, fostering a learning environment.

• Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols within the emergency department.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records, adhering to institutional policies and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in administrative duties, departmental meetings, and peer reviews as required.

MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.

Completed training in Emergency Medicine or a related specialty with appropriate certification.
