Job description
Woodston Personnel have an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Radiologist role with our client in KSA. The Consultant Radiologist is a senior medical specialist responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services and clinical expertise in the interpretation of radiological examinations. The role involves performing and reporting on a wide range of imaging studies, advising referring clinicians, contributing to multidisciplinary care, and supporting the development of safe, effective, and patient-centred radiology services.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and report a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.
Perform and supervise image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures where appropriate.
Provide timely, accurate, and clinically relevant radiology reports.
Offer expert radiological advice to referring clinicians to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and clinical case discussions.
Ensure high standards of patient safety, dignity, and care during imaging procedures.
Obtain informed consent for procedures when required.
Communicate significant or urgent findings promptly to the appropriate clinical teams.
Contribute to the strategic development and improvement of radiology services.
Support the implementation of new imaging technologies and clinical protocols.
Promote quality assurance, audit, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide teaching and supervision for radiology trainees, junior doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities.
Support academic or research activities where applicable.
Participate in clinical governance, audit, and peer review activities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and professional guidelines.
Maintain accurate and secure medical records in accordance with data protection regulations.
Participate in the consultant on-call rota as required.
Provide urgent radiological consultation outside standard hours when scheduled.

Job requirements
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
US Board/ FRCS - Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand or Australian/ Diploma d'Etudes Specialises (DES)/ CIS French Board/ Fachart & Sub- Board/ Fellowship / Board / Fellowship / Sweden / Belgium / Finland / Spain
Must have at least 3-5 years of post-consultant or senior specialist experience
Eligible for consultant licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
