Woodston Personnel is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our reputable client’s medical team in Saudi Arabia. This position is ideal for a dedicated physician with expertise in managing a variety of gastrointestinal disorders. The Consultant will play a key role in delivering outstanding patient care through the provision of comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services in gastroenterology.
The successful candidate will be committed to the principles of patient-centered care and will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality treatment and follow-up for patients with chronic digestive diseases, liver disorders, and other gastrointestinal conditions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with gastrointestinal complaints.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including endoscopy, colonoscopy, and other minimally invasive interventions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices.
Collaborate with other specialists to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex medical issues.
Engage in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research activities to advance the department's goals.
Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient care in line with hospital policies.
Offer guidance and support to junior medical staff and fellows in the gastroenterology department.
Participate in departmental meetings, case discussions, and educational conferences.

Job requirements
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
US Board/ FRCS - Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand or Australian/ Diploma d'Etudes Specialises (DES)/ CIS French Board/ Fachart & Sub- Board/ Fellowship / Board / Fellowship / Sweden / Belgium / Finland / Spain
Must have at least 3-5 years of post-consultant or senior specialist experience
Eligible for consultant licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
