Job description
Our client is seeking motivated and dedicated Anaesthetic Registrars to join their multidisciplinary anaesthesia teams across acute hospital services. The successful candidates will provide high-quality anaesthetic care to patients undergoing elective and emergency procedures while contributing to critical care, perioperative medicine, pain management, and resuscitation services.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe and effective anaesthetic care under the supervision of Consultant Anaesthetists.
Participate in elective and emergency theatre lists.
Contribute to critical care, intensive care, and acute pain management services as required.
Assess and manage patients in the perioperative setting.
Participate in the on-call rota and emergency response teams.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
Engage in clinical audit, quality improvement, and continuing professional development activities.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job requirements
Essential Requirements
Registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) or eligibility for registration.
Minimum of two years' postgraduate clinical experience.
Demonstrated experience in anaesthesia, critical care, emergency medicine, or related specialties.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Desirable Criteria
Completion of relevant postgraduate examinations (e.g., Primary FRCA, MCAI, or equivalent).
Previous experience within an acute hospital setting.
Evidence of participation in audit, research, or teaching activities.
Certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS).
